Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If you’re not using the puff pastry, score the top of the brie in a crosshatch pattern.
- If using puff pastry, roll it out and place the brie in the center.
- Spread cranberry sauce over the top and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
- If using puff pastry, fold it around the cheese, covering it completely. Brush the top with egg wash.
Baking
- Place the brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is gooey and the pastry is golden brown, if using.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers or slices of baguette.
Notes
You can prep the brie up to a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Feel free to customize the nut topping with walnuts or almonds. Embrace the messiness of melted cheese for a great cheese board moment!
