Ingredients
- Halloween-themed pasta (bat or pumpkin shapes) or spaghetti
- Black food coloring
- Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
- Garlic cloves
- Cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
- Spinach or kale
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: gummy worms or eyeball meatballs
Instructions
- Cook your pasta by boiling in a large pot according to package directions. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- Add olive oil and minced garlic to the pot, then toss in the cooked pasta and reserved water. Add black food coloring.
- Toss in cherry tomatoes and greens, cooking until they are just wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Create eyeballs by adding mini meatballs or mozzarella balls topped with black olive slices.
- Serve the pasta with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
