Description

A delightful and easy dessert featuring layers of creamy mascarpone, fluffy sponge cake, and fresh berries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whip the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until thick peaks form.
  2. Brew your coffee and allow it to cool. Optionally, add coffee liqueur. Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the coffee.
  3. Layer the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a trifle dish, followed by the mascarpone mixture and mixed berries. Repeat layers.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries and mint before serving.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different types of berries or use cream cheese mixed with sour cream as a mascarpone substitute.
