- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 1 bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- ¼ cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the steak: In a medium bowl, combine your sliced steak, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let it sit while you chop your veggies for about 15 minutes.
- Cook the steak: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the veggies: In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until softened but still crunchy.
