Description

A delightful fusion of crispy bites filled with creamy prawn Alfredo, perfect for gatherings or a special treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked prawns, chopped
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella works great)
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the chopped prawns, Alfredo sauce, and shredded cheese in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Assemble the burritos by placing a generous spoonful of the prawn mixture onto each tortilla. Fold in the sides and roll them up tightly.
  3. Prepare a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  4. Coat each rolled burrito in flour, dip it in beaten eggs, and then coat in breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the burritos in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain the burritos on paper towels and serve immediately with dip.

Notes

Fry the burritos in batches for even cooking. Monitor oil temperature to prevent burning.
