Ingredients

- 1 box of strawberry cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- Additional strawberries for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Prepare a strawberry sauce by combining sliced strawberries with sweetened condensed milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake and drizzle the strawberry mixture over it.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and spread over the cake.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a fun twist, substitute with frozen strawberries if fresh are unavailable.
