Description

A fun and delicious treat for Halloween that kids will love! These spider meatballs are quick and easy to prepare, bringing creativity to your festive table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (for dipping and drizzling)
  • Black olives (for the spider bodies)
  • Spaghetti or thin pasta (for spider legs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced onion, garlic, egg, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Shape your meat mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, reserving some pasta water.
  6. Create spiders by placing a half of a black olive on top of each meatball for the body and inserting pieces of spaghetti for legs.
  7. Serve the meatballs with warmed marinara sauce.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meatballs to avoid a dense texture. Feel free to use cheese chunks instead of olives for a different twist.
