- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the chopped prawns, softened cream cheese, fresh dill, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Roll out your puff pastry into rectangles, aiming for about an 1/8-inch thickness.
- Place a tablespoon of the prawn mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll to create croissant shapes.
- Brush the croissants with the beaten egg for a glossy finish.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with a tangy dipping sauce.
Notes
Keep puff pastry cold until ready to bake for the flakiest result. You can substitute prawns with chicken, tofu, or different seafood.
