- 8 ounces lo mein or spaghetti noodles (raw)
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly
- 2 cups mixed stir-fry veggies (like bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced (optional)
- Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the sliced chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic (and ginger, if using) and sauté for just a minute more.
- Stir-fry the mixed veggies for about 3-4 minutes until bright and tender-crisp.
- Toss in the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, mixing everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Plate your Garlic Chicken Lo Mein, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and enjoy!
Notes
This recipe is adaptable; swap chicken for shrimp, beef, or tofu for a plant-based option. Add crunchy peanuts or cashews if desired.
