Description

Glazed Pigs in a Blanket are the perfect treat that can turn any gathering into a feast of joy and laughter. Quick, easy, and satisfying, these delights are great for game days, parties, or a fun night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of small sausages (or hot dogs)
  • 1 tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the crescent roll dough and roll it out. Cut it into triangles as indicated on the package.
  3. Place one sausage at the wider end of each triangle and roll it up toward the point.
  4. Mix together the brown sugar, honey, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl until smooth.
  5. Brush the glaze over the top of each wrapped sausage before baking.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the glaze is bubbling.
  7. Let them cool for a minute before serving warm with extra glaze for dipping.

Notes

You can switch the sausages for your family’s favorite flavors. Turkey or veggie options work great too.
