- 1 lb Ground beef
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 Cucumber, grated
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, crumbled feta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Form the mixture into medium-sized balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 71°C).
- Mix Greek yogurt, diced sun-dried tomatoes, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt for tzatziki.
- Serve the meatballs with tzatziki sauce and optional sides like roasted vegetables or Greek salad.
Notes
If the meatball mixture seems too dry, add a touch more olive oil. Substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken if desired.
