  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 Cucumber, grated
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, crumbled feta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into medium-sized balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 71°C).
  6. Mix Greek yogurt, diced sun-dried tomatoes, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt for tzatziki.
  7. Serve the meatballs with tzatziki sauce and optional sides like roasted vegetables or Greek salad.

Notes

If the meatball mixture seems too dry, add a touch more olive oil. Substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken if desired.
