Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat with the chopped onion until cooked through.
  3. Mix in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.
  4. Combine the cooked beef mixture, uncooked rice, beef broth, and cream of mushroom soup in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Embrace the cheese by pouring the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and topping it with shredded cheddar.
  6. Bake for about 45-50 minutes until the rice is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve and savor the casserole once it cools for a few minutes.

Notes
