Description

Delectable honey garlic ribs that combine sweet, sticky honey and savory garlic for a flavor explosion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds of pork ribs
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  2. Marinate the Ribs: Place the pork ribs in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and give it a good shake. Store it in the fridge for at least 120 minutes, or overnight if possible.
  3. Preheat the Oven: When you’re ready to cook, preheat your oven to 300°F (about 150°C).
  4. Bake the Ribs: Lay the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover with another layer of foil to keep them moist. Bake for 150 to 180 minutes, or until they are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone easily.
  5. Glaze and Broil: After baking, remove the top layer of foil, brush some of the remaining marinade over the ribs, and pop them under the broiler for about 5-10 minutes.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Let those beautiful ribs rest for a few minutes, slice them up, and serve them with your choice of sides.

Notes

Don’t be shy with the marinade! The longer you marinate the ribs, the more flavorful they will be. If you want a bit of a kick, consider adding some chili flakes to the marinade.
