Description

This luxurious seafood pasta features rich lobster and shrimp enveloped in a creamy Alfredo sauce, perfect for special occasions or indulgent weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or your favorite pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside, saving a cup of the pasta water.
  2. Sauté the seafood: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, approximately 3-4 minutes. Then, gently fold in the lobster meat and heat through.
  3. Make the Alfredo sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts into a creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine it all: Add the drained pasta to the sauce, tossing to combine. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Serve: Plate your luscious lobster & shrimp Alfredo, and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

Fresh seafood makes a world of difference. Use thawed frozen seafood if necessary. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
