Description
A creamy and dreamy cheesecake layered with bananas, chocolate, and whipped cream on a graham cracker crust, perfect for busy days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- ¼ cup chocolate sauce
- ¼ cup whipped cream
- Maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until everything is well combined (it should resemble wet sand). Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Make the cheesecake filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
- Combine and chill: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust, using a spatula to spread it evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.
- Add those toppings: Right before serving, layer the sliced bananas on top, followed by a drizzle of chocolate sauce and a dollop of whipped cream. Top with a maraschino cherry.
Notes
For added texture, mix crushed nuts into the graham cracker crumbs. To avoid a soggy crust, consider baking it for 10 minutes before adding the filling.
