Description
Quick and delicious Parmesan baked pork chops that are crispy, flavorful, and easy to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This allows it to get nice and hot, which is essential for that crispy crust we all love.
- Prepare the coating by mixing together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat the pork chops by drizzling olive oil over them and pressing them firmly into the cheese-breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake the coated pork chops on a baking tray lined with parchment paper for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Serve and enjoy! Let the pork chops rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, broil the pork chops for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Experiment with different types of breadcrumbs for unique flavors.
