Peanut Butter and Jelly Cheesecake

Description

A nostalgic dessert combining creamy cheesecake with a swirl of sweet jelly, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup jelly (strawberry or grape)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add in the peanut butter and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  6. Now, one at a time, add the eggs to the mixture, mixing on low speed until just incorporated.
  7. Pour half of the cheesecake filling over the crust.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of jelly on top of the filling and swirl gently.
  9. Pour the remaining cheesecake filling over the top, finishing with another swirl of jelly.
  10. Place the springform pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 50-60 minutes.
  11. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about an hour.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  13. Serve by uncliping the springform pan, slicing, and enjoying!

Notes

Feel free to mix different jelly flavors and use various types of peanut butter for experimenting.
