- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme) for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the scallops by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the pan by adding olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the scallops in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and add butter and garlic. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve by transferring the scallops to a plate, pouring the butter and garlic sauce over them, and garnishing with fresh herbs.
Notes
Use high-quality, dry-packed scallops for the best results. Don’t overcook to maintain texture.
