Description
A quick and delicious Shrimp and Broccoli Stir-Fry bathed in a savory garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated (optional but recommended)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Cook the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Broccoli goes in the same skillet; add more oil if needed and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp.
- Combine the shrimp back in the skillet and stir in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Drizzle with sesame oil and cook for another minute to meld flavors.
- Serve immediately over rice or noodles. Enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp and feel free to swap vegetables based on preference.
