Description

A quick and delicious Shrimp and Broccoli Stir-Fry bathed in a savory garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated (optional but recommended)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
  2. Cook the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Broccoli goes in the same skillet; add more oil if needed and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp.
  4. Combine the shrimp back in the skillet and stir in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Drizzle with sesame oil and cook for another minute to meld flavors.
  5. Serve immediately over rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp and feel free to swap vegetables based on preference.
