Description
Quick and flavorful shrimp and crab fajitas wrapped in warm tortillas, perfect for busy evenings or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound of crab meat, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of fajita seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: avocado, sour cream, cilantro, lime wedges
Instructions
- Sizzle the shrimp and crab: Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Toss in the minced garlic, and after about 30 seconds, add in the shrimp. Cook it until it turns pink, which takes about 3-4 minutes. Then, gently fold in the crab meat and heat through.
- Add the veggies: Toss in the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sprinkle the fajita seasoning along with some salt and pepper, and sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas: While your shrimp and crab mixture cooks, warm your flour tortillas on another skillet or in the microwave until they are soft and pliable.
- Assemble and enjoy: Fill each tortilla with the shrimp and crab mixture. Top with your choice of avocado, sour cream, cilantro, or a squeeze of lime.
Notes
Customize your spice with jalapeños for added heat. Leftovers can be turned into a cold salad or nachos.
