Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the softened cream cheese, cooked shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder in a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Place a wonton wrapper on a clean, flat surface. Spoon about a tablespoon of the filling mixture into the center.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it into a stick shape, pressing the edges together to seal.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, gently add the filled wonton sticks to the oil, frying until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the sticks with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with nacho cheese sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Don’t overfill the wrappers to avoid bursting during frying. Keep an eye on the frying process for perfect golden brown sticks.
