Description
Crispy golden Brussels sprouts paired with a tangy mustard cream and crumbled bacon, perfect as a snack or side dish.

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp bacon fat from cooking
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pot over high heat.
- Carefully lower the trimmed Brussels sprouts into the hot oil.
- Fry the sprouts for about five minutes until golden brown.
- Remove them onto paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
- Mix a vinaigrette by whisking together mustard, vinegar, honey, and bacon fat in a bowl.
- Toss the hot Brussels sprouts with the vinaigrette and crumbled bacon.
Notes
For best results, do not leave the frying Brussels sprouts unattended as they can burn quickly.
