Description
Delightful, gooey brownies topped with a whimsical spiderweb design, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (for the web design)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for the brownie base)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and stir until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the brownies and use a toothpick or knife to draw spiderweb patterns on top.
