Description
A quick and delicious stir-fry featuring tender steak, succulent prawns, and noodles, perfect for busy evenings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g steak, thinly sliced
- 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 150g noodles (egg or rice)
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: a sprinkle of sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the noodles: Begin by cooking the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set them aside.
- Cook the steak: Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add a dash of cooking oil, and once it’s hot, toss in the sliced steak. Sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned but still tender.
- Add the prawns: Stir in the prawns and garlic, cooking until the prawns turn pink and opaque—around 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in veggies: Add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli, allowing everything to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the veggies are just tender.
- Combine flavours: Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, mixing thoroughly to coat all the ingredients. Add the noodles back to the pan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve and enjoy: Plate up your delicious creation and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
