Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 1 head Iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen peas, thawed Secret superstar of the salad!
  • 1 cup Cooked bacon, crumbled Bacon makes everything better!
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large clear bowl, add the chopped Iceberg lettuce as the base.
  2. Layer the halved cherry tomatoes gently over the lettuce.
  3. Next, add the diced cucumber to create a colorful layer.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded carrots evenly over the cucumber.
  5. Add the thawed peas as the next layer.
  6. Crumble the cooked bacon over the peas.
  7. Finish with a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sugar, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the dressing evenly over the cheese layer.
Chilling
  1. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
  2. Serve when ready and enjoy!

Notes

You can prepare the salad ahead and just add the dressing before serving. Feel free to switch ingredients based on availability or personal preferences.
