  • 8 slices bacon Partially cook in microwave for easier wrapping.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Can substitute with a mix of herbs and spices.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Optional but highly recommended.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Toothpicks For securing the bacon.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning.
  3. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon and secure the ends with toothpicks.
  4. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bacon-wrapped chicken.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 30-35 minutes until cooked through.
  2. For extra crispy bacon, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely.
  3. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before removing toothpicks and slicing.

Notes

To store leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best results. Chicken thighs can be substituted for breasts with slight adjustments to cooking time.
