- Wrap each onion with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
- Drizzle the wrapped onions with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the onions on a baking sheet and roast for about 30-35 minutes until bacon is crispy and onions are tender.
Making the Creamy Asiago Sauce
- In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream.
- Add the Asiago cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Notes
