Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bagels in half and place them on a baking sheet.
- Top each bagel half with a slice of prosciutto.
- Gently crack an egg onto each bagel half.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top of each bagel.
- Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on top.
- Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the eggs are set to your liking and the cheese is gooey and golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh herbs over the top before serving.
Notes
You can prep these bagels the night before and bake them in the morning. Additionally, substitute ingredients like turkey bacon or sautéed mushrooms for prosciutto, or try different cheese varieties for added flavor.
