Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 wheel wheel of Brie cheese (8-12 oz)
  • 1 loaf round loaf of bread (sourdough or French)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade) homemade for extra love
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves or 1 teaspoon dried
  • to taste nuts or raisins for added crunch and sweetness (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the top of your round loaf off and hollow out the insides. Keep the insides for dipping later.
  3. Place the Brie inside the hollowed-out bread bowl. Top with cranberry sauce and sprinkle with thyme leaves. Add nuts or raisins if desired.
  4. Cover with the bread lid and wrap in aluminum foil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
Serving
  1. Serve hot and use leftover bread pieces for dipping.

Notes

Don't stress about presentation. If the Brie spills out a little while baking, it's just more cheese to enjoy! For an added touch, drizzle honey on top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within a few days.
