Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 round Brie cheese (8-12 oz) Use your favorite brand of brie.
  • 1/2 cup fig jam Add more if you love fig jam!
  • 1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary Adjust based on your taste preference.
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed) Ensure it's rolled out on a floured surface.
  • 1 egg beaten with a tablespoon of water for egg wash Gives the pastry a golden finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry.
  4. Spread fig jam generously on top of the brie.
  5. Tuck in the fresh rosemary sprigs on top of the jam.
  6. Fold the pastry over the brie, pinching the seams to enclose it.
  7. Brush the pastry with the egg wash for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
Serving
  1. Let it cool slightly before serving with crackers, apples, or baguette.

Notes

You can prepare the dish a few hours in advance and refrigerate it until ready to bake. Reheat in the oven if needed. If the puff pastry tears, just patch it up for a rustic look.
