  • 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped Pecans add a nice crunch; you can substitute with other nuts if desired.
  • to taste Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish Use for decoration and added flavor.
  • optional balsamic reduction Drizzle on top for an extra gourmet touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the round of Brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Top the Brie with chopped figs, drizzle honey over the figs, and sprinkle pecans all around.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melty but not exploded.
Serving
  1. Let it cool for a minute after baking and garnish with fresh herbs and balsamic reduction if desired.
  2. Serve with crackers or slices of baguette.

Notes

Use a soft cheese like Camembert or Gouda for variations. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and re-warm slowly to enjoy again.
