  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter Because butter makes everything better!
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh if you’ve got it
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika for a little kick
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional but recommended)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine your shrimp with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. In another bowl, blend together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and paprika.
  4. Place the seasoned shrimp onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over each shrimp.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the topping is golden.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and serve with additional lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Keep a close eye on the shrimp while baking to avoid overcooking. You can also customize this dish by adding red pepper flakes or swapping out parsley for basil. For a heartier meal, serve the shrimp over pasta or alongside a salad.
