Preparation
- Get a large pot of water boiling. Add a pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Meat
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until brown. Sauté onions and garlic until the onions are translucent.
Combine
- Mix in the pizza sauce, cooked spaghetti, Italian seasoning, and seasonings until everything is well incorporated.
Layering
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti mixture, sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese, and top with half of the pepperoni. Repeat the layers.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is gooey and golden.
Serving
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving with a side salad or garlic bread.
Notes
