  • 1 pound spicy Italian sausage Feel free to swap for turkey sausage.
  • 1 cup fresh spinach Freshly chopped.
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened For a rich and creamy texture.
  • 1 cup sour cream Makes the dip extra creamy.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For that ooey-gooey texture.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a rich flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble the spicy Italian sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the fresh spinach and cook until it wilts, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a big bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  5. Fold the sausage and spinach mixture into the cheese mixture until fully combined.
  6. Spread the dip mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dippers.

Notes

You can use pre-cooked sausage to save time, and this dip can be assembled in advance and refrigerated. Increase baking time if starting cold.
