Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 1.5 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
For the Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
For the Banana Pudding Layer
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 1 box (5.1 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
For the Topping
  • 1 cup additional whipped topping
  • crushed vanilla wafers for garnish
  • 1 banana sliced bananas for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. In a bowl, combine the vanilla wafer crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined, then press this mix into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pop it in the fridge while you make the rest of the layers.
Make the Cheesecake Layer
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until creamy. Add in the vanilla extract and fold in the whipped topping until everything is smooth and delicious.
Create the Banana Pudding Layer
  1. Whisk together the milk and banana pudding mix in a separate bowl until thickened. Gently fold in the sliced bananas.
Layer It Up
  1. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the crust. Next, layer the banana pudding mixture over the cheesecake. Smooth it out for an Instagram-ready look!
Top It Off
  1. Chill the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Before serving, add a generous layer of whipped topping, a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers, and a few lovely banana slices for flair.
