Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel apart the Little Smokies and set them aside.
- Cut each bacon strip into thirds, wrap one piece around each Little Smokie, and secure it with a toothpick or skewer.
Cooking
- Place the wrapped Little Smokies on a lined baking sheet. Mix BBQ sauce and brown sugar in a bowl and brush it over the wrapped treats.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the bacon crisps and the BBQ sauce caramelizes.
- Allow them to cool for a minute before serving. Optionally, drizzle more BBQ sauce on top.
Notes
For crispy bacon, try using thick-cut bacon. You can jazz it up with smoked paprika or spicy seasoning. Don’t worry about wrapping imperfections.
