  • 1 pound 1 pound (16 ounces) of Little Smokies Mini hot dogs that pack a punch.
  • ½ pound ½ pound of bacon The secret to the irresistible crunch.
  • 1 cup 1 cup of BBQ sauce Use your favorite flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of brown sugar For a sweet twist.
  • as needed Skewers or toothpicks To keep everything together.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel apart the Little Smokies and set them aside.
  3. Cut each bacon strip into thirds, wrap one piece around each Little Smokie, and secure it with a toothpick or skewer.
Cooking
  1. Place the wrapped Little Smokies on a lined baking sheet. Mix BBQ sauce and brown sugar in a bowl and brush it over the wrapped treats.
  2. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the bacon crisps and the BBQ sauce caramelizes.
  3. Allow them to cool for a minute before serving. Optionally, drizzle more BBQ sauce on top.

Notes

For crispy bacon, try using thick-cut bacon. You can jazz it up with smoked paprika or spicy seasoning. Don’t worry about wrapping imperfections.
