  • 2-3 pounds beef ribs
  • 1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Slather the marinade generously over the ribs and cover with foil. Let sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour (or overnight).
Cooking
  1. After marinating, place the ribs on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for about 3 hours.
  2. Remove the foil, brush extra BBQ sauce over the ribs, and grill on medium heat for 5-10 minutes, or bake for another 20 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
Serving
  1. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before carving. Serve with a side of coleslaw or garlic bread.

Notes

Letting the ribs marinate overnight enhances the flavors. Try different BBQ sauces to suit your taste.
