Preparation

- If using fresh broccoli, steam the florets for about 3-4 minutes until tender and vibrant green. If using frozen, simply thaw them.
Mixing Filling
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Whisk until combined.
Assembling
- Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish. Layer the steamed broccoli and shredded cheddar in the base, then pour the egg mixture over the top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is slightly golden.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
