Preparation
- Start by slicing your beef, trimming the green beans, and slicing the mushrooms. Prepping everything makes cooking feel like a breeze.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is shimmering, it’s time to add the beef.
- Toss in the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until it’s browned. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
- Next, add the garlic, green beans, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the beans are vibrant and crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Pour this sauce over the beef and veggies, stir well, and let it cook for another minute.
Serving
- Scoop this delicious stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles, and enjoy!
Notes
For a little zing, add a splash of chili sauce or red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be stored tightly covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
