For the Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries Or frozen, if that’s what you have on hand

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the blackberries gently under cold water and reserve a few for garnishing later.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add in the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whip until everything is well combined and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the blackberries into the cream mixture, being careful not to crush them too much.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups and cover. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Serving
  1. Scoop out your blackberry lime creation and top it with reserved blackberries or a sprinkle of lime zest before serving.

Notes

Use frozen blackberries if out of season. This dessert can be made a day in advance to allow for more time with guests. Feel free to experiment by adding other fruits like raspberries or mango for a refreshing twist.
