- Rinse the blackberries gently under cold water and reserve a few for garnishing later.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add in the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whip until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Gently fold the blackberries into the cream mixture, being careful not to crush them too much.
- Transfer the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups and cover. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Serving
- Scoop out your blackberry lime creation and top it with reserved blackberries or a sprinkle of lime zest before serving.
Notes
Use frozen blackberries if out of season. This dessert can be made a day in advance to allow for more time with guests. Feel free to experiment by adding other fruits like raspberries or mango for a refreshing twist.
