Ingredients
  

For the cookie shells
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature Use two sticks.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing until just incorporated.
  5. Scoop the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Assembly
  1. Prepare the custard and chocolate glaze as per your favorite recipes.
  2. Once the cookies have cooled, fill each cookie shell with custard and top with chocolate glaze.
