Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, broccoli florets, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in 1 ½ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly. Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
- A few minutes before it's done, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt.
- Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for later. Reheat in the oven for the best flavor.
