  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted You can substitute olive oil for a lighter option.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is ideal.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds a slight kick and color.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Use as desired for seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by preheating your broiler to high. Make sure your rack is about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Place the lobster tails on a cutting board, belly side up. Cut through the top shell, stopping just before the tail fan to create a butterfly effect.
  3. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the garlic sauce.
  4. Generously brush the garlic mixture over the lobster meat, ensuring they are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 6-8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and firm.
  2. The lobster meat should easily separate from the shell when cooked.
Serving
  1. Drizzle any remaining garlic sauce over the tops of the lobster tails and garnish with additional parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

Notes

If your sauce looks a little lumpy, don't worry! It's part of the cooking process. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and gently reheat.
