Preparation
- Begin by preheating your broiler to high. Make sure your rack is about 6 inches from the heat source.
- Place the lobster tails on a cutting board, belly side up. Cut through the top shell, stopping just before the tail fan to create a butterfly effect.
- In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the garlic sauce.
- Generously brush the garlic mixture over the lobster meat, ensuring they are well coated.
Cooking
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 6-8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and firm.
- The lobster meat should easily separate from the shell when cooked.
Serving
- Drizzle any remaining garlic sauce over the tops of the lobster tails and garnish with additional parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Notes
If your sauce looks a little lumpy, don't worry! It's part of the cooking process. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and gently reheat.
