Ingredients

Seafood
  • 2 pieces lobster tails
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven’s broiler to high, and let it preheat while you’re prepping the seafood.
  2. Prepare the Lobster: Cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the center and gently pull the meat out slightly, keeping it attached at the base.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
Cooking
  1. Add the Shrimp: Toss the shrimp in a bowl with a little of the garlic butter sauce just enough to coat.
  2. Arrange for Cooking: On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place the lobster tails and shrimp. Brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter sauce.
  3. Broil: Cook under the broiler for 5-10 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the lobster meat is opaque and slightly browned.
Serving
  1. Serve It Up: Drizzle remaining butter sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook lobster to avoid chewiness. Customize with favorite herbs or add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
