For the Brownie Layer
  • 1 box box of brownie mix (plus the ingredients it requires)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) For added crunch
For the Creamy Layer
  • 2 cups whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Assembly
  • to taste Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • to taste Extra whipped cream, for topping Optional

Preparation
  1. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, adding walnuts if desired. Bake, cool, and cut into squares.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until well combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  3. In a 9x13-inch dish, place half of the brownie squares at the bottom. Spread half of the creamy mixture over the brownies. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownies and creamy mixture.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best results.
  5. Once chilled, cut into squares, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and top with whipped cream.

Notes

Short on time? Use pre-made brownie bites or store-bought brownies. Don't rush the chill time - overnight chilling enhances flavors!
