- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir gently and let it sit for a few minutes.
Assembly
- Once your baguette slices are toasted, place the tomato mixture on each slice.
- Top each with a piece of creamy burrata.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Mozzarella or ricotta can be used as substitutes for burrata. Add a splash of balsamic glaze for extra flavor. Store leftover tomato mixture separately and keep toasted baguette slices in an airtight container to maintain crunch.
