Method

Preparation of Crostini
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the baguette slices out on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle them with olive oil, and sprinkle a little salt and pepper on top.
  3. Bake for about 6-8 minutes, or until they’re golden and crispy.
Cooking the Hanger Steak
  1. While your crostini are baking, season your hanger steak generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
  3. Once hot, place your steak in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or longer if you prefer it well done.
  4. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
Assembly
  1. On each crostini, place a generous piece of burrata, followed by a slice of the hanger steak.
  2. Top it off with a handful of fresh arugula, if you’re feeling fancy.
  3. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for that extra touch of sweetness.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Tips: You can marinate the steak in garlic, rosemary, or red wine before cooking for enhanced flavor. Store leftover components separately in airtight containers and reassemble when ready to snack again.
