- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice your baguette into 1-inch thick pieces. Arrange on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake until golden and crispy—about 5-7 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Stir gently and adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembly
- Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Top each slice with the tomato mixture and add a piece of burrata on top.
- Drizzle more balsamic vinegar if desired and sprinkle with crushed red pepper.
Serving
- Transfer the bruschetta to a platter and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, do not top the bread until just before serving to prevent sogginess. Customize with additional toppings like avocado or roasted garlic.
