Ingredients

For the Bruschetta
  • 8 ounces Burrata cheese
  • 1 large baguette or any crusty bread of your choice
  • 2 cups ripe cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • fresh leaves basil, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil for brushing and mixing
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. Brush each side lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Tomato Topping
  1. In a bowl, mix the halved cherry tomatoes with minced garlic, a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until everything is coated.
Assembly
  1. Once the crostinis are out of the oven, place a generous scoop of burrata on each slice.
  2. Top with the tomato mixture.
  3. Finish with fresh basil leaves and a delicate drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Notes

Burrata vs. Mozzarella: If you can’t find burrata, you can use mozzarella instead. Feel free to add other toppings like roasted peppers or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra flavor. The basil garnish adds a pop of color and aroma.
