Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Slice the crusty bread into ½-inch thick pieces. Place them on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with a little salt.
- Bake the prepared bread for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
Making the Topping
- In a bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes and chopped basil. Drizzle with olive oil, add salt and pepper, and mix well.
Assembly
- Once the bread is out of the oven and slightly cooled, spread a good amount of burrata cheese on each slice.
- Top each slice with the tomato and basil mixture, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Serving
- Present the Burrata Bruschetta on a lovely platter for your guests.
Notes
If the burrata tears while spreading, consider it a rustic touch. You can make this bruschetta for meal prep, just keep the bread separate until ready to serve.
